The Wrong Way to Price Your Services & Products
I’ve noticed that many small creative businesses go about the whole pricing thing completely backwards. Meaning they start with what they think their client or customer will pay instead of creating a pricing strategy that makes them what they need to make in their business. Why would you let your client or customer decide what to pay you or what you’re worth? YOU should be the one deciding what you need to be paid to keep your business running and to pay your salary. Every business owner should factor in the following four areas into your pricing strategy: your fixed costs, your variable costs, your salary, and your profit.
